This may be helpful for people shopping for diamonds, only to find they are unpleasantly surprised by how small they look when they arrive:
Most of the diamond earrings offered here seem to be sized according to the total weight of BOTH diamonds - not each one individually, as one might assume. So that means each individual diamond in a 1/2 carat set is only 1/4 carat each. This may be common practice for all diamond jewelry sets, but it may not be apparent to everyone, especially when it comes to earrings, which are individual pieces but always come in pairs. Some sellers indicate the distinction in their detailed descriptions, and even provide a graphic to show the relative size of different diamond sizes on the ear. Something to keep in mind when setting your expectations.

Received these yesterday each diamond looked more like paste, (milky white)than a diamond, no sparkle, no clarity a complete rip off. I would be embarressed to give these as a present. Customer service was very nice agreed exchange to see if I had better luck with a different pair. (I'm not holding my breath.)

The picture looks good, but when you get the earring,it is very small in size for 1/2 carat diamond. The nonscrew back is the worst part, I lost my earring within 2 weeks of buying it, while i was combing my hair.
