I have purchased diamonds before and knew these were not "top quality", but the ones I received seemed far below any I1-I2 rated diamonds I've bought in the past. It seemed to always be a problem with one earring. Perhaps, Amazon could make sure these were better matched, as a pair. Also, these had noticeable scratches and divots on the face or table, which is the most visible part on a solitaire diamond. $100 is a lot of money for lesser quality diamonds. Setting and backs were fine. In the end, all is well; but I'm not sure I would order these again.

The specifications were right - SI range inclusions and I color, but one has to take a leap of faith when it comes to the quality of the cut since we must purchase these earrings sight unseen. I received these yesterday and they are fantastic! They were shipped on Monday and I received them on Tuesday, so needless to say, shipping is GREAT!!! As for the size, they are tiny but sparkle amazingly. Please note that on the COLOR SCALE, from G-J, the diamond is "near colorless", which is only second best to colorless. On the CLARITY SCALE, SI-1 and SI-2 are diamonds that are "slightly imperfect", which basically means VERY few flaws, if any, can be seen with the naked eyes. Overall, these high quality diamond earrings are a great buy for such a LOW price.

These are tiny, make no mistake about it. These are diamond accents. They are 2 1/2 points in each ear. May appear a little smaller than that because the bezel has to cover the edges of the stone, but setting is very secure. Very well made and sturdy for their size, very sturdy solid gold post, and secure friction backs. The entire earring measures 1/8 of an inch, approximately the size of earrings used in initial ear piercing. The diamond is about 1/16 of a inch. These come in yellow gold too. Because of the bezel setting, I think the yellow gold contrast, surrounding the diamond, may display it a little more prominently. I pulled out my loupe to look them over. These white diamonds are near colorless, with absolutely no hint of a yellow tinge, good clarity and a good cut. They allow a twinkle of sparkle and fire. I expected them to be tiny.



These are perfect for a second piercing; people that like petite earrings; a person who has short hair or wears their hair in an updo; men that are just "dipping their toes" into earring wearing, etc.. These are special because the quality of the diamond is very good. It's a desirable quality for a larger stone. Because they are tiny, but good quality, they lend a whisper of class in your ears. I going to order another pair from this company and wear them both. I looked over this company's offerings and they sell, only good to excellent quality diamonds.

the 1/3 is a tad large for a woman's second earing hole (if they have 2-3 holes up their ear and I believe that 1/2 would work just fine in the lowest hole, however the 1/3 works well there as well. If these are a second pair, I would go 1/4 if your going up the ear, but 1/3-1/2 carat seems perfect for the lowest ear hole.

I bought these for the woman in my life. First time I've bought jewelry online, let alone diamonds--I was a little nervous. They're excellent quality, though. Let's do the 4Cs. Definitely "eye-clear," there are certainly no inclusions that I can see (VS2); they appear colorless to me; the cut is good. I don't believe amazon specifies it, which is a shame (although who really cares if it's not certified anyway), but in my diamond-dilettante opinion, the cut is simply "Good", and nothing more. Don't get me wrong, they're very sparkly, but they're not incandescent. When we woke up this morning it was still almost dark, and I could see she was wearing the earrings.



1/3 carat is the PERFECT size. Perfect. Any bigger and they'd look fake (and gaudy, ostentatious)... could probably have gone for 1/4 carat, but these are ideal. If you're worried about getting specks, I wouldn't go below 1/4 (personally).



The setting is very elegant. Platinum! The box they came in is quite nice--very presentable.



I'm overall overwhelming pleased. Diamond studs appear to be on near-constant sale on Amazon; I got 40% off which took them to $507.98 (this on 12/8/08). She likes them, she's happy, I'm happy :-)

What a disappointment. These diamonds look more like pearls than diamonds. Or, clumps of rock salt, or some shattered safety glass. The earrings are small, but the mountings are not bad. I knew the stones were cheap, but these are not anything to write home about. Don't waste your hard-earned money on these earrings unless you are buying some earrings for someone who might be legally blind.



I have some better looking CZ earrings I will choose over these any day. Sorry, but when something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Buyer, beware!
